TERIYAKI CHICKEN BOWLS
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb cubed chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- steamed rice
- broccoli
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, garlic and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Heat a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the oil.
- When the oil is h0t, add the chicken breasts. Fry for about 3 minutes on each side (5-6 in total) until golden brown.
- Add the teriyaki sauce to the chicken and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from fire. Serve chicken over rice in a bowl with steamed broccoli. Enjoy!
